This poppy has such beauty inside. I love the different shapes, lines & look at those dark burgandy spots aligned on each petal. What creations mother nature blooms from the earth.
Poppies are near and dear to my heart. As a child, I grew up helping my very patriotic Dad handing out those little plastic ones with the wire on them for donations for V.F.W. , American Legion, and D.A.V. This in turn, help military men/ women and their families. He gave back after WWII.
I have this photograph and the matching one, titled "Poppy Pathway" in stretch canvas hanging at either end of my jacuzzi.
Very lovely with lots of compliments.
