My umbrella purchased at an Estate Sale, is beautiful workmanship. From the wooden handle, to the black metal spokes that open it. The colors of th umbrella are stunning, they com fromthe SIStine Chapel.
Although the Sistine Chapel is not all about Michelangelo, there is no question that the fresco painted by him on the ten thousand foot ceiling on the chapel in 1508 is certainly what made the Sistine Chapel so famous all over the world. A number of famous artists worked on the chapel, such as Boticelli, Perugino, Ghirlandaio and Roselli, but Michelangelo’s work has an overshadowing quality that is best reflected in its fame.
